When will Facebook be back up?

Stone acknowledged the outage just before 11 a.m. on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying "We're aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now." Just in time for individuals to debate their state's presidential primaries today for Super Tuesday, service to Facebook and the other Meta sites was restored by midday.

"A technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services," Sonte subsequently stated on social media.

The Meta service interruption that occurred on Tuesday occurred less than two weeks after AT&T users had a prolonged countrywide outage. The next day, the corporation said that "the application and execution of an incorrect process used as we were expanding our network" was the reason for the outage, citing technical difficulties. Affected customers were given a $5 credit.
